PLACES by CR3W

PLACES answers one question: where can I work with a laptop for a few hours? If something is wrong, missing or unclear, we would rather hear it than not. Email hello@cr3w.app and a person will reply.
Open the place in the app and choose Something wrong? Tell us. You can flag a venue that has closed, opening hours that are out of date, working details that are incorrect, or a photo that is not of that place. You do not need an account to report something.
PLACES records where each fact came from, and you can see it on any venue under Where this comes from. If a fact has no source we say so rather than guessing.
Every photo is reviewed by a person before it appears. If something has got through that should not have, open the venue, choose Something wrong? Tell us and select A photo here is offensive or inappropriate. We take reported photos down while we look at them, and we remove any photo showing an identifiable person who has not agreed to appear.
Accounts that repeatedly upload inappropriate photos lose the ability to contribute. You can also email hello@cr3w.app directly if you would rather not report from inside the app.
You keep ownership of anything you add. Contributing gives PLACES permission to show it alongside that venue, and you can ask us to remove it at any time. Published photos are credited to your display name if you have set one, and to “a PLACES member” if you have not. Your email address is never shown.
See what you have added, and where each contribution has got to, under Me in the app.
Open Me and choose Delete account. This removes your saved places, preferences and profile, and unlinks anything you have contributed. Photos still awaiting review are deleted; photos already published stay on the venue but lose all connection to you. If you would like a published photo removed as well, email us and we will take it down.
PLACES uses Sign in with Apple or a code sent to your email. There is no password to remember. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we only ever see the private relay address Apple creates for you.
If you already have a CR3W account, signing in with the same email keeps the same account across both.
Anywhere in the app, use Add a place. Suggestions are not published straight away: we confirm the details first, so a new venue appears once there is enough evidence to say something useful about working there. You will see it move from Being checked to Accepted for research to Added to PLACES under Me.
Email hello@cr3w.app. For anything about your data specifically, legal@cr3w.app reaches the same people and is the address named in our privacy policy.
PLACES is made by CR3W LTD in London. It is early, and the catalogue grows every week — if somewhere good is missing, tell us and we will go and check it.
