These terms govern your use of PLACES, a product of CR3W LTD (“we”, “us”), through the iOS app and places.cr3w.app. By using PLACES you agree to them. Questions: legal@cr3w.app.
PLACES is a guide to venues where you can work with a laptop. Venue information is a combination of our own research, licensed external data, venue-provided details and community contributions. It is guidance, not a promise. Opening hours change, cafés fill up, policies shift. Always treat the information as a well-informed starting point, and check with the venue for anything that matters.
The Work Score reflects our assessment and community evidence of how workable a venue is. It cannot be bought. Venues can pay for Featured placement, which affects visibility only, is always labelled “Featured”, and never changes a Work Score.
You can browse without an account; some features need one. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete it at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to manipulate venue information.
When you suggest a place or confirm venue information, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that contribution within PLACES, including in anonymised or aggregated form. Contribute honestly: fabricated reports and attempts to game scores are grounds for removal. You keep no obligation for how venues act on your reports.
PLACES Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple (monthly or annual). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice; refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Venue claims, corrections and Featured placement are governed by a separate agreement made when you claim your page. Submitting a claim or lead creates no entitlement to placement, and no payment of any kind affects a Work Score.
Do not scrape, bulk-extract or resell PLACES data; do not reverse engineer the service; do not use PLACES to harass venues or people; do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing.
PLACES is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate venue information, venue closures, or your reliance on the service — including a wasted journey to a café that turned out to be full. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the courts of England and Wales (mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected). If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app first. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
